BRYAN - The lines went outside the door as concerned citizens of Bryan met for a town hall meeting with U.S. Representative Chet Edwards.
Concerned citizens, business owners and a number of residents like Joe Hoffman wanted to ask the Congressman some questions.
"The thought is nice for everyone to have free health care but somebody's gotta pay for it," Hoffman said.
The audience was filled to capacity as some people took to their seats while others raised banners of protest. Many people brought note pads and listened carefully as the Congressman spoke.
"I respect the fact that people in this room and around the country that feel strongly against this bill, just as there are people in this room who strongly support," said Rep. Edwards.
Nearly a half dozen questions were asked.
