BRYAN- A 20 year old man is behind bars accused of trying to set his dad on fire.
Christopher King is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and arson after Tuesday morning fire in his parents garage.
Bryan Police responded to a fire on the 2000 block of Rockwood Drive around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday. According to police when they arrived King was standing in the middle of the road with his hands up.
Police say King came into his parents room and told them he set the garage on fire and then allegedly tried to set his dad on fire.
King was taken to the hospital for evaluation and was released late Wednesday to jail.
