COLLEGE STATION - A Guadalupe County judge is now facing charges after being found in possession of marijuana.

Police arrested Judge Michael Wiggins on Tuesday at the Hilton hotel on University Drive in College Station. Wiggins was attending a conference for county judges and commissioners at the time.

A hotel employee smelled marijuana coming from his room and called College Station Police.

Police searched the room and found rolling papers and a bag of marijuana. Wiggins admitted to police that the drugs were his.
