BRYAN- Five candidates are competing for the new Texas House District 12 seat. It represents five counties between Waco and Bryan.
After speaking with all the candidates each one of their campaigns emphasized small town and rural issues--at the polls voters showed which candidate represented them.
Tucker Anderson: 706
Timothy Delasandro: 598
Chris Scotti: 1160
Kyle Kacal: 1422
Josh Tetens: 134
We caught up with Kyle Kacal who received the most votes, he told News Channel 25 what it felt like to win the voters trust.
"It's very humbling we have worked very hard we ran a very clean campaign and we are thankful for all our friends and family who believed in us."
Since a majority did not vote a run-off election will be held in July.
