Police searching for credit union robber, considered armed and dangerous

COLLEGE STATION - Police are actively searching for a man who held up a local credit union Friday morning.

Officers responded to the FedStar Credit Union located in the 700 block of Harvey Road at around 11:30 a.m. after receiving a report of an aggravated robbery.

Police arrived and learned that a man had entered the bank with a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money. He then fled the scene in a small blue or silver vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

The shooter is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The suspect is described as:

*        White male, 6' tall
*        Medium build
*        In his 20's
*        Stubble-like facial hair
*        Wearing glasses
*        Ball Cap (Black with green shamrock)
*        Black basketball shorts
*        Black high top shoes
*        Black zip up nylon athletic jacket

No employees or customers were injured during the robbery.
