COLLEGE STATION - A teenage girl is dead after an accident Wednesday afternoon in south College Station. Around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, a Kia was heading east on Barron Road towards W.D. Fitch.
Police say the Kia did not yield at the stop sign, and that's when a pickup truck slammed into the passenger side.
The passenger in the Kia, 16-year-old Tara Lewis, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles, Elizabeth Pfitzer and Jason Greer, were taken to the College Station Medical Center.
