Conley came back to the Brazos Valley and the First Alert 40 Storm Team in December 2008. He looks forward to providing the best severe weather coverage.
Conley grew up in the Fort Worth area and was fascinated with weather at an early age. It was the hail storm of May '95 that made him want to become a TV meteorologist. He took that passion to Texas A&M University where he received his B.S. in Meteorology. While in college, Conley had the opportunity to storm chase and loves to track severe storms.
His first job was in the Brazos Valley. While there, he covered all kinds of weather including major flood events and Hurricane Rita. From there, he traveled to East Texas to the town of Lufkin, where he was the Chief Meteorologist for KTRE-TV from 2005 to 2008. Conley spend over two days on air covering Hurricane Ike and it is an experience he will never forget.
Conley is a member of the American Meteorological Society is working on getting his Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal soon. Severe weather is his number one priority so you can trust that Conley and the rest of the First Alert 40 Storm Team will be there anytime severe weather threatens.
His lovely wife Stacy is from Central Texas and they are excited to be close to family.
