SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Kawhi Leonard had 24 points as the San Antonio Spurs surged past the Indiana Pacers for a 106-92 victory Monday night to remain undefeated at home. San Antonio is off to the second best start in franchise history. The Spurs have 21 wins by double figures. George Hill and Jordan Hill each had 15 points for Indiana.
HOUSTON (AP) - James Harden scored 36 points as the Houston Rockets beat the Charlotte Hornets 102-95 on Monday night. Harden made 16 of 19 free throws and secured Houston's third straight win by making two with 13.9 seconds remaining. Kemba Walker led the Hornets with 14 points.
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Antti Niemi stopped 30 shots in relief as the Dallas Stars scored four straight goals to beat the Minnesota Wild 6-3 on Monday night. Vernon Fiddler scored twice for Dallas. Jordie Benn, Tyler Seguin, Antoine Roussel and Cody Eakin also had goals. Jared Spurgeon, Charlie Coyle and Nino Niederreiter scored for Minnesota.
SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) - Emani Gant scored 18 points to lead Texas State in a 92-43 romp over Division III Howard Payne Monday night. Courtney Julien added 14 points for Texas State. The Bobcats shot 56.6 percent from the field while the Yellow Jackets shot 22.6 percent. Evan Vaden led Howard Payne with 10 points.
